Whilst you may not feel like it, taking a weekly bump photo is a perfect way to capture your bump’s progression and admire all the beautiful and amazing things your body is doing in order to grow you baby.
If you are going to commit to weekly bump photo shots, then there are plenty of apps that you can use that will make this process a whole lot easier. These apps pretty much all work the same way. But you can expect to find cute backgrounds, cute slogans, and easy to track milestones that will allow you to record your progress through your pregnancy easier than ever.

2. Keep a Pregnancy Journal
A pregnancy journal is a beautiful keepsake of your pregnancy journey. It helps you to pause and reflect on your pregnancy and really take and process all the feelings and emotions.

If journaling or writing every week sounds like too much, try doing some writing each month or at the start of trimesters.

Sure, you can have them for second, and later babies, but it’s not really the same.

5. Pamper Yourself

7. Do A Maternity Shoot
Between 30 – 36 weeks of your pregnancy is the ideal time to do a maternity shoot.
Whilst you might feel a little awkward, no doubt you are going to be grateful that you did, especially if you haven’t taken make photos throughout your pregnancy.
It can be a super fun day getting your hair and makeup done and feeling like a rock star.

8. Enjoy Some Date Nights
Pregnancy is an amazing time to connect with your partner and get them excited about pregnancy too.
You should go on impromptu date nights whenever possible during pregnancy.
Unfortunately, the days of last-minute nights out become much harder once your baby arrives. Even if you can organize a babysitter, planning a night out after 7pm might feel exhausting for a while.

9. Pick Out Baby’s Going Home Outfit
There isn’t much cuter than itty, bitty baby clothes!
So, have some fun while you choose the perfect going home outfit for when you bring your baby home from the hospital. There are so many great options out there. A few pointers to help you decide:
- Choose a weather appropriate outfit and accessories
- Make sure the outfit you choose is car seat friendly

Whether you go out for a fun girl’s meal, the full day, or even go for a few nights a trip away, spending time with your besties is a fun way to be present with your friends, relax, and rejuvenate.

12. Embrace The Nesting
Nesting during pregnancy is that intrinsic desire to get everything organized, clean, and ready for your baby. Whilst you can go overboard, if you harness your nesting in the right way, it can help you prepare you for your baby’s arrival as well as have a ton of fun while you’re at it.

Even with pregnancy, the conversation starts to heavily shift towards your baby, so, try to find some time to take a babymoon before your due date.
It can be a great way to get some time to relax, unplug, and be really present with your partner.
Don’t feel like it has to be expensive either. Consider a local Air BnB, budget hotel, or even a staycation-style babymoon. All can work, the key is to being intentional about letting it feel like a babymoon.
14. Sleep In And Take Naps
No doubt you’ve hear ‘sleep while you can’ a bunch of times already, but our pregnancy bucket list wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t add it.
Afterall, pregnancy is one of the few times in life where you can nap and not feel guilty or lazy for doing so.
Plus, it is really hard work growing a baby, so go head, sleep in and take those naps! Your body is likely craving more sleep anyways. Listening to your body is one of the best things you can do.
15. Make A Mom/Bump Friend
Making a bump-buddy is a must-do on your pregnancy bucket list!
It’s really great to be able to go through a similar experience with another person and discuss all the highs and lows. And even better when your friendship extends once you have your baby.
Yes, your other friends who’ve had babies and your partner are amazing sources of support during pregnancy. But having a friend who’s going through it in real time with you is just the best. No one can fully empathize or celebrate better. So put yourself out there and don’t be afraid to make the first move. No doubt she wants some expecting friends as well.
