Mompush is an American brand that aims to combine durability and strength with style, creating strollers that should fit easily into your everyday life. These are multi-functional strollers, for city-based parents who need a stroller to support a busy lifestyle.

The Mompush Ultimate 2 is the premium model of the Mompush stroller range.

It comes with a bassinet attachments so it can be used for a child from zero months old to three years old.

There are four different modes that this stroller can be put in, to make sure that it suits every occasion. The bassinet mode has the bassinet in a sleep position, and has the baby facing you.

The Infant Carrier Mode enables you to make the stroller seat compatible with a car, meaning that you can easily disconnect it from the stroller and use it as a car seat.

Parent Facing Mode has is suitable for toddlers, and puts them in a sitting position facing you. The World Facing Mode, aptly named, enables your child to sit and face the direction of motion.

These four modes make this stroller suitable for multiple ages and multiple situations.

The bassinet that is used in the Bassinet Mode is detachable; in essence, you get a bassinet with this stroller!

This independent bassinet has a foot cover and canopy, to make sure that whether you are out or at home your baby is protected and warm.

Our favorite part of this whole stroller was how soft the bassinet mattress pad was. This bassinet would be the perfect place for your baby to sleep.

All in all, this stroller package includes:

  • 1 high quality stroller
  • 1 rain cover
  • 1 attachable bassinet
  • 1 car seat adapter

Whether you are out and about on a rainy day, or are traveling by car with your kid, this stroller will give you the ability to transport your child safely and with ease.

The colorways available for this model are simple and understated. Choose from silver gray, black gray, or navy.

Dimensions: 17.7″ L x 22.5″ W x 35.4″ H

Weight: Frame + Seat: 25.7 lbs, Bassinet: 8.9 lbs

Pros

  • Multimode enables you to use it with a child from birth to three years old
  • A separate bassinet can be used on the stroller or at home

Cons

  • Price. This high-quality stroller carries with it a hefty price tag, even when it’s on sale. It is around twice the cost of other strollers, so must be considered a serious investment

Mompush Meteor 2 Stroller

The Meteor 2 is a uniquely designed 2 in 1 stroller that can to transform from newborn bassinet to toddler seat in just a few seconds, using one hand, without the need for an additional bassinet attachment.

This makes it a great stroller for those that have limited storage space, especially as it is self standing once folded.

The seat itself comes with multiple recline options and can be used forward or reverse facing.

The multi terrain wheels allow it to tackle different surfaces, while the clever build keeps weight low. Whilst, it is not as premium a design as the Ultimate 2, this is still a good build for a day-to-day stroller.

Mompush Wiz 2 in 1 Stroller

The Mompush Wiz 2 in 1 is similar in design to the Mompush Meteor 2.

It’s unique design makes this stroller suitable from birth all the way through to children up to 50 pounds.

The main difference between the Wiz and the Meteor is that the seat on the Wiz is much larger so you can expect to use the stroller for longer before your child outgrows it.

However, it does lack some of the features of the Meteor such as the one handed fold, adjustable handle bars, and adjustable foot rest.

And whilst it is compatible with a selected few car seats (Maxi-Cosi Mico AP, Maxi-Cosi Mico 30/ Mico Max 30, Nuna Pipa, Nuna Pipa Lite) the car seat adaptor is sold seperatly.

What We Like About Mompush Strollers

Overall, we’re very impressed with the offerings of Mompush. These strollers are durable and well-made, with plenty of added features for convenience. Let’s take a look at some specific features we like.

Included Bassinet

Mompush have included a bassinet option with the Ultimate 2, Meteor 2, and Wiz strollers. While the Ultimate 2 has a separate bassinet, the Meteor and Wiz seats are 2-in-1, and can transform from bassinet to toddler seat.

We love this feature, as so many strollers only come with a bassinet or toddler seat, instead of both. Once you’ve purchased the Mompush, you can often keep on using this stroller until your child has outgrown the seat.

The separate bassinet for the Ultimate 2 is excellent, and includes a comfortable fully flat position and a thickened mattress.

UPF 50+ Canopy

The weather can often put a halt to our plans, from strong sunshine to heavy rain. Mompush ensures you don’t have to sacrifice a day out because of the weather.

The sun canopy is fantastic, made with UPF 50+ fabric to provide a safe and cool zone for your child. It’s extra large, to provide full coverage when your child wants a nap!

Ventilation panels keep the air circulating, for longer days in the sun. There’s also a peekaboo window, so parents can check on their child’s wellbeing.

And if it’s raining, Mompush has included a rain cover! There’s also a foot cover installed in the Ultimate 2, Meteor 2, and Wiz, for added warmth.

One-Handed Recline

Apart from the Wiz, all the strollers from Mompush come with a one-handed recline that is easy to use. A one-handed recline is an excellent feature, as it allows you to keep hold of your little one when putting the stroller away.

We’re particularly impressed with the one-handed fold included with the Ultimate 2. This is a full-size stroller, and they can often be heavy and hard to fold. Instead, the Ultimate 2 collapses quickly, and once folded, it can stand upright.

Adjustable Recline And Footrest

All Mompush strollers come with an adjustable, full recline. When your little one is sleepy, the seat can be lowered, and they can doze off. When they want to look around, the seat can be upright, and they can see what’s happening.

The premium strollers from Mompush – the Ultimate 2 and Meteor 2 – both come with an adjustable footrest as well. This adds to the comfort of the design.

Mompush has made the recline easy to use, and the adjustment is intuitive.

Parent- And World-Facing

Apart from the compact Lithe stroller, the Mompush stroller seats can all be adjusted to be world- or parent- facing.

This makes them more adaptable at different ages. Parent-facing is preferred for younger kids, while world-facing is better as they grow.

Switching from parent-facing to world-facing is relatively simple, although it can be tricky on the larger and heavier strollers.

Steering And Control

A light push should be enough to get even the heaviest of Mompush strollers moving, and the all-wheel suspension provides a smooth journey across various terrains. The no-puncture wheels are excellent, as you won’t find a flat tire ruins a day out.

Materials

Across the board, Mompush uses quality and durable materials to build their strollers. Anodized aluminum is used to build the frame, providing it with a lightweight durability.

A leatherette handlebar both improves grip, and looks fantastic. And the seat and basket use a combination of polyester and organic cotton.

Look And Design

Mompush was founded on the idea that quality strollers can be both comfortable and stylish. They’ve certainly succeeded when it comes to style.

All the strollers created by Mompush are sleek and streamlined, with an attractive profile and some delightful finishing touches. You’ll be happy to be seen pushing these strollers around!

Mompush is also expanding the color range available. So, you can find a stroller that perfectly fits your personal style!

What We Don’t Like About Mompush Strollers

There is a lot to like about Mompush, but they aren’t a perfect brand. Let’s take a look at some things that could be improved.

Lack Of Options

Mompush only offers a limited range of strollers, and there are some noticeable gaps. The strollers they do sell have plenty of overlapping features, which can make it difficult to decide which is right for you.

For example, the Ultimate 2 and Meteor 2 both use a one-handed fold, full seat recline, and all-wheel suspension. It would be nice to see Mompush offer a proper all terrain stroller, or maybe a jogging stroller.

Mompush might grow their range in the future, and we’d be excited to see what else they design.

Bassinet Comfort

The Wiz and Meteor 2 strollers both come with a 2-in-1 seat that can be adjusted for toddlers and newborns.

While this is an excellent feature, as it is an adjustable seat, it does lack some comfort for newborns when compared to a separate bassinet. For longer journeys, these seats might not be ideal.

Handlebar Adjustment

While some Mompush strollers come with an adjustable handlebar – the Ultimate and Meteor models, specifically – it isn’t standard.

An adjustable handlebar can really add to the comfort for parents, as you don’t have to bend or stretch to push.

Adjustable handlebars are useful, and for some parents, necessary. If you’ve noticed pain before when pushing a stroller, then you may need an adjustable handlebar.

Do We Recommend Mompush?

Mompush is rapidly growing a reputation for creating attractive and durable strollers that are incredibly versatile.

The streamlined designs are simple in places, and you can see this in the limited range available. However, lightweight, easy to steer, and intuitive to use, Mompush strollers will appeal to many busy parents.

Overall, we’re very impressed with what Mompush has to offer. They feel good to use, and the seats are adjustable and comfortable for newborns and toddlers.

The high quality materials contribute to the premium feel, but they don’t demand a premium price tag!

Final Thoughts on Mompush Stroller Reviews

Mompush won’t have a stroller for every parent, but if you’re after a versatile design that maneuvers city streets easily, we recommend checking this American brand out!

The Ultimate is clearly the star of the range, as a full size stroller that is suitable from birth to 50 pounds. But the entire range prioritizes a combination of function and style in a way we find exciting.
