If you were expecting a no-hassle jogging stroller with no personality or any extra features, then you will be very surprised with what you will find when you put together this stroller!

Starting off strong, the assembly is very simple, all you need to do is snap on the wheels and then you’ll be off.

Along with functionality, this stroller wins aesthetic points with its gorgeous flowing design. All buttons on the stroller are bright blue to ensure that they’re easily visible and accessible while strolling through parks, streets, or forests.

These buttons are also clearly labeled with what they do, so you can easily learn where the breaks are or how to put down the stroller at just a glance.

The handlebar adjusts from 100cm up to 115cm, providing an optimal height range for tall and short parents alike.

The handlebar has a brand-new dynamic twisting handbrake that enables you to alter the stroller’s speed as you navigate varied terrain. We enjoyed the added sense of security and control this provided while strolling with a heavier newborn or toddler.

While you can use the handbrake to keep your stroller still, for even more security you can make use of the foot brake that can be found between the two rear wheels. It flicks on and off swiftly and is color-coded red to ensure that it is immediately noticeable.

Wheels

One of our favorite features of the Urban Glide 2 is its enormous and extremely robust shopping basket. This area benefits from a zip-closed top, which guarantees that nothing spills out at you while you are on the go.

This space can be used for anything you and your child need while out and about, and is a great place to store any valuables that you may want to take with you.

Seat

You can use the seat until your children exceed the weight restriction, which means that you could use this stroller until your child is around 5 years old depending on their weight.

The harness straps are padded for comfort and are easy to fasten by putting the harness teeth into the buckle clasp. We were worried that this design would be inconvenient, but it proved very useful when getting a reluctant child onto the seat.

The fabric of the seat is a well-designed wipeable polyester that is also resistant to water. When the usual mishaps occurred, we just wiped them clean with a wet wipe and everything returned to normal!

The seat reclines thanks to a strap mechanism positioned on the back of the seat. To lower the seat, squeeze the clamp and then squeeze it again to elevate the seat.

Due to the nature of the design, it’s worth mentioning that the seat does not appear to be completely upright, which may irritate some children, while some might be perfectly pleased to sit back and relax.

A generously sized mesh pocket is located directly beneath the reclining strap for handy storage of valuables and necessities. This area was pretty convenient for storing wipes, hats, and gloves.

The hood on this stroller is robust and has a little sun visor attached. The hood may be extended via the little zip-open panel at the rear, which enhances the hood’s size and coverage somewhat.

A raincover is one item we wish was included. Unfortunately, this is not a standard feature of the stroller; however, a Thule raincover is available as an optional extra.

Extra Features

The Glide 2 has two features that are uncommon on most strollers. The first is the reflective rims on the edge of the canopy and all the wheels. This allows for nighttime visibility, for both you and others around you, especially cars.

This feature adds to the safety of the stroller, as people will be able to see you even in dark lighting.

The second interesting feature is the ability to attach the bassinet and use it with newborns, though the bassinet itself is an added extra. This is not very common with jogging strollers, so is a nice touch if you are willing to spend a bit more money.
